Let us bring our awesome animals to you this Easter for an amazing eggstravaganza the whole family can enjoy

Meet rabbits, reptiles, minibeasts and more in the comfort of your home with an exciting, educational and ethical Lion Learners animal handling experience.

Looking for something different to do this Easter holidays? A Lion Learners animal handling experience is the perfect way to treat the whole family. Ideal for all ages, from toddlers to grandparents, the experience lets you meet amazing animals from around the world – from your sofa!

Get up close to a slithering snake, feel the scaly skin of a lizard, marvel at magnificent minibeasts, and, of course, meet our Easter rabbits. It’s an unforgettable experience with something for everyone!

How a Lion Learners home experience works

We arrive at your home or venue approximately 30 minutes before the experience start time to set up. During this time, we’ll turn one of your rooms into a mini zoo. Using covers to protect your floor and tables and setting up pens and travel tanks to ensure the animals are comfortable.

The experience itself lasts an hour and you’ll meet around 7 exotic and familiar animals. This might include rabbits, chicks, guinea pigs, snakes, bearded dragons, geckos, blue tongue skinks, rats, tortoise, tarantula, giant millipedes and more.

Each animal is friendly and calm as we only bring animals that are happy to travel and be handled.

After the session, we clear everything away, leaving no mess, only magical memories.

The experience costs £140. If you’d like to book or want more information, please contact us.

Caring for our animals

Animal welfare is at the heart of everything we do. Many of our animals have been rescued from neglect or adopted from people who can no longer care for them. The animals live with their presenter in special habitats with the best possible enrichment. This encourages stimulation and natural behaviours. By living in our homes, we are able to form exceptionally strong bonds with the animals. It also lets us keep a very close eye on them to make sure they are happy, healthy and willing to socialise. It’s crucial that our animals’ needs are met and they are comfortable in any situation.

We carefully pick the species we choose to share our lives with, to ensure that we are able to meet their needs. This is why you won’t find us travelling with animals such as meerkats or racoons.

When you meet us, it will quickly become obvious how much we love our animals. We hope you will love them as much as we do!
